Optimising DevOps processes and providing technological support for impresspro

Impresspro is a rapidly growing company specialising in the development of modern, responsive websites and comprehensive IT support. With a strong focus on innovation, they provide services such as website maintenance, UX and CRO audits, web development, and tailored WordPress solutions. Impresspro stands out for its ability to deliver flexible, scalable platforms that adapt to the evolving needs of businesses, helping clients enhance their digital presence and drive growth.

The goal of the collaboration with Happy Team was to provide comprehensive technological support for impresspro’s development team and resolve key issues related to application performance and deployment processes.

The scope of the project included the following objectives:

• Application audit – verification of code quality and identification of areas of technical debt that negatively impacted system performance and stability.
• DevOps process optimisation – implementation and training of the team in best DevOps practices, significantly improving the deployment of applications to test and production servers.
• Support in web application development – advising on the implementation of new functionalities and assisting in selecting technologies and libraries best suited to project needs.
• CI/CD implementation – introducing continuous improvement and continuous delivery processes, enabling regular enhancements and faster deployments.

The client expected not only technical solutions but also a transfer of knowledge, allowing impresspro’s team to gain the skills necessary to independently develop and maintain the newly implemented processes in the future.

Happy Team served as a key technology partner for impresspro, providing an experienced CTO who took responsibility for improving DevOps processes and optimising the performance of the development team. During the collaboration, a developer from Happy Team also joined the project to support the implementation of new solutions.

Our role included:

• Conducting an audit of existing development and deployment processes, identifying areas requiring improvement, and reorganising workflows.
• Implementing new CI/CD pipelines and creating build agents in GitLab, enabling automation and significantly accelerating deployments.
• Delivering training and workshops on DevOps, enhancing the impresspro team’s competencies in modern tools and practices.
• Directly supporting the implementation of new functionalities in web applications through the collaboration of our CTO and developer.
• Advising on the selection of tools, libraries, and technologies that best supported the development and long-term maintenance of impresspro’s applications.

Our role extended beyond technology – we also supported impresspro strategically, helping to foster a culture of Continuous Improvement and Continuous Delivery, which contributed to greater stability and operational efficiency within the team.

Happy Team provided a CTO who streamlined impresspro’s deployment processes by implementing CI/CD pipelines and creating dedicated build agents in GitLab. Performance issues were analysed through an application audit, which identified key areas of technical debt.

The CTO led workshops for the development team, sharing knowledge on DevOps and deployment automation. A developer from Happy Team joined the project to support the implementation of new features and optimise existing solutions.

As a result, impresspro gained a more stable and efficient development environment, enabling faster and more secure delivery of updates and application growth.
